Modus operandi, procedendi, vivendi … The works of Christoph Mayer reflect a complexity that is based on the restless confrontation with the modus operandi (the way of action and implementation), the constant questioning of the modus procedendi (the way of the procedure) and, not least from the precarious sense of the Modus Vivendi (the way – to live- with something).
